About The Position

At Pepsi Bottling Ventures, the nation’s largest private bottler and distributor of Pepsi beverages, the Merchandiser role involves merchandising products by stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up displays, stocking and rotating coolers, organizing storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor. The company is jointly owned by Suntory and PepsiCo, with a legacy of providing PepsiCo products to the Carolinas and beyond, and also creates its own beverages. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered, in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good driving habits.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
• Ability to meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Fills and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
• Sells and executes all promotions.
• Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
• Develops good customer relations.
• Services all customers as scheduled.
• Orders product and /or runs invoices.
• Cleans equipment and maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion – rotates stock.
• Other duties as assigned.
