About The Position

The Merchandiser supports our sales and customer engagement goals through effective product selection, inventory management, and in-store presentation. This role is responsible for ensuring the right products are available at the right time, placing orders, monitoring stock levels, analyzing customer behavior, and executing appealing visual displays and promotional strategies. The Merchandiser will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and resolving inventory or supply challenges. Success in this position requires up-to-date knowledge of merchandising trends, strong organizational and decision-making skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure while aligning with company objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience working in retail or merchandising.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service.
• Will be required to travel to client locations.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that store shelves are stocked with the right types of products.
• Display, arrange, and rotate products in the store.
• Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products.
• Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake.
• Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and best sellers.
• Work and communicate with store personnel.
