Summary:
The Merchandiser is responsible for product merchandising from back stock at each assigned retailer/customer location. This position follows a weekend schedule, with regular days off on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attend all required meetings, webinars and conference calls
• Complete all assigned ABU training
• Daily travel within 100 mile radius may be required.
• 1 year of previous experience in warehouse or manual labor preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects.
• Ability to lift, load, unload, and move product that weighs up 60 lbs constantly and up to 165 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in a cool environment.(as low as 40 degrees)
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, floor displays and coolers with EDI product in back stock inventory.
• Ensure product is rotated for first in first out by code date.
• Ensure displays are merchandised with the proper POS material.
• Note any out of stock or potential low or out of stock situations and communicate to appropriate sales personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized back stock area.
• Break down all cartons and carriers and dispose of properly.
• Transport products from back stock to display areas using U boats, hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• All other duties as assigned.
