About The Position

At SET Active, we create elevated essentials for an active lifestyle - and we move fast. Behind every product launch, retail experience, and wholesale partnership is a team of operational problem-solvers who make it all happen. We're looking for a Logistics & Operations Manager to join our team and own the end-to-end movement of our product across platforms, partners, and channels. The Merchandiser will serve as the strategic owner of SET Active's product assortment. The role blends creative vision with business acumen, delivering seasonal line plans that balance core programs, seasonal capsules, and collaborations. The Merchandiser will monitor product performance, recommend SKU depth, count, and flow, and provide insights that drive product decisions, marketing strategy, and financial outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced founder led environment, can synthesize consumer insights with market trends, and translates them into actionable product strategies that maximize revenue, sell-through, and brand loyalty.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of merchandising experience in women's apparel, ideally in athleisure or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience owning assortment strategy line planning, and SKU management.
  • Deep understanding of E-Commerce, Wholesale, and Retail channel strategies.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a strong sense of trend, consumer behavior, and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Assortment Strategy & Line Planning Own seasonal assortment strategy, aligning creative vision with business goals.
  • Build monthly line plans for E-commerce , Retail and Wholesale.
  • Balance core programs with seasonal capsules and collaborations.
  • Recommend SKU count, depth, and flow of product launches.
  • Provide product design with insights on consumer resonance and underperforming items.
  • Performance & Analytics Analyze historical and in-season sales by style , color , size to identify wins, risks, and opportunities .
  • P rovide weekly reporting and ad hoc deep dives on marketing ROI , product productivity, and category profitability .
  • Partner with Planning to inform buys and manage Open-to-Buy ( OTB ) .
  • Track and optimize KPIs including sell-through rate, SKU productivity, revenue per style, inventory health, and assortment alignment to margin and revenue goals.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership Serve as the central point of communication for assortment decisions , consumer insights, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & E- Comm erce to launch storytelling, product hierarchy, and site merchandising.
  • Translate competitive landscape, fashion trends, and community feedback into actionable merchandising adjustments.
  • Market & Consumer Insights Monitor competitive landscape, active wear and fashion trends, and community feedback.
  • Translate insights into product opportunities or merchandising adjustments that improve performance and brand resonance .
