About The Position

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Seasonal Merchandiser to join their Field Sales team. This role involves working within big box retailers, such as Home Depot and Lowe's, to execute merchandising directives and re-sets. The Merchandiser will establish positive rapport with store personnel and customers, relay information to the Scotts Sales team regarding inventory opportunities, provide product knowledge on Scotts brands, ensure products are stocked and presentable, assist in identifying opportunities for solution selling and incremental space, and provide support to the Sales Manager and store employees as needed. The position requires working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Problem solving and service oriented attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
• Ability to operate company provided technology
• Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to routinely walk, stand, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs and be exposed to weather elements (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain)
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required for this position

Responsibilities
