About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to support store-level sales performance and ensure exceptional product presentation across assigned retail locations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales Representatives, store management, and internal teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience through effective shelf management and point-of-purchase execution.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Food & Beverage industry preferred.
  • Residency: Candidates must live within the assigned service area to be considered for employment. : Lower Delaware Areas & Eastern Shore of Maryland Areas (21 Stores)
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation is required. Candidates must have access to their own personal vehicle.
  • License: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Insurance: Valid personal auto insurance is required.
  • Driving Record: Must meet company driving standards as part of the hiring process.
  • Territory Coverage: Ability to travel between multiple retail locations within the assigned territory.
  • Union Position: This role is part of a unionized workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Drive store sales by supporting point-of-purchase initiatives and maintaining visually appealing, well-stocked displays.
  • Optimize product placement to maximize visibility, accessibility, and customer engagement.
  • Review store priorities and partner with your supervisor to develop and maintain an efficient visit schedule.
  • Ensure shelves and displays are organized and compliant by: Stocking the correct products in designated shelf or display locations. Rotating products based on expiration dates to maintain freshness and quality. Cleaning, straightening, and improving product presentation.
  • Restock shelves using available backroom inventory.
  • Monitor product levels and promptly notify Sales Representatives of low or out-of-stock items.
  • Assist Sales Representatives with promotional activities, including: Setting up promotional displays. Observing and reporting customer engagement and promotion effectiveness. Identifying and resolving issues through timely communication with your supervisor.
  • Adhere to and uphold merchandising standards specific to each retail account.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality results during every store visit.
  • Contribute to the company’s merchandising excellence by embracing new responsibilities, suggesting innovative ideas, and identifying opportunities to add value.
  • Utilize the AT&T Workforce Tracking System to document daily activities, manage schedules, and complete required performance reports accurately and on time.
