About The Position

Market and merchandise all distributed products within an assigned territory, servicing specific accounts on a regular basis. This position reports directly to the merchandising supervisor and the Delivery and Service Manager.

Requirements

Physical ability to complete all job tasks-repetitive lifting, bending, pulling and pushing, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. continuously, overhead
Willingness to work until the entire job is completed, including working in adverse weather conditions
Complete any and all training as required for the position including safety training
Read and understand Suncoast Beverage Sales’ Policy Manuals
Utilization of personal vehicle for business purposes required as a condition of employment—vehicle must adhere to company image and safety standards
Maintain insurability requirements as determined by Suncoast Beverage Sales
Adherence to all drug free workplace standards and requirements
Strong communicative skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to present yourself in a professional manner at all times

Responsibilities

Ensure proper rotation of product in a timely manner with the color code system and close code communication forms including stocking, merchandising, facing, etc. of all products in the market
Assembly and disassembly of product displays in retail accounts
Merchandising of products creatively and effectively to improve shelf and display positions
Maintain back room and back stock in neat and orderly condition
Utilization of mandated Merchandising Mobility Application, consistently and accurately, to gauge time spent servicing all accounts on a daily basis
Knowledge of all pricing, promotions and company goals
Manage time effectively to route daily work needs, while following bulk delivery and scheduled route sequence
Submit completed and signed activity reports (pull sheets) to supervisor as required
Communicate to management all changes and occurrences in the market including competitive activity
Dominate the market with permanent and paper point of sale
Maintain package integrity and quality standards in the marketplace
Responsible for the adherence to company standards, guidelines, policy and procedures
Improve and build customer relationships at the retail level
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Oversees and maintains company equipment
Comply with all Federal, State and Local traffic regulations
Any other tasks as requested by management
