As a Merchandiser/Stocker at O'Reilly Auto Parts, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the front floor area of the store. Your primary responsibilities will include keeping the merchandise stocked, fronted, and clean, ensuring that the sales floor is always presentable and ready for customers. You will stock merchandise according to planograms or displays, complete sales preparation, and greet customers on the sales floor, assisting them in locating merchandise or directing them to a parts specialist when necessary. In larger stores with high installer volume, you may also serve as a stock puller for the installer area. Your essential job functions will involve greeting customers, checking in and pricing stock, and ensuring that merchandise on the display floor is fronted, full, and clean daily. You will be responsible for making display changes according to company guidelines and planograms, ensuring that all sale signs are in place, and maintaining sufficient quantities of sale merchandise on display. Additionally, you will assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns, working closely with the store manager to complete the store's To Do List and Team Weekly tasks. You will act as a deterrent to shoplifting and provide front floor security, while also assisting with O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities. In your role, you will clock in and out according to company policy and work with the ISS to pull and stage installer deliveries for delivery specialists. You will serve as a communication liaison between ISS, delivery specialists, and the store manager, helping to determine the most efficient and safest routes for delivery specialists. You will also coordinate and ensure the completion of quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance with ISS and delivery specialists, while performing housekeeping duties for the back room and installer counter areas. In addition to these responsibilities, you may serve as a HUB Store Order Puller, pulling parts quickly and accurately from pick tickets and preparing them for delivery to serviced stores. This will involve receiving orders from area stores, sorting parts by store location, and inspecting boxes to ensure parts are in good condition. Maintaining a clean and safe work area is essential, as is operating in a safe manner for the benefit of yourself and others.
