A Merchandiser at Bell Nursery is the face of our company for our retail partners. This role is responsible for the visual merchandising, unloading, and stocking shipments of live goods as well as customer relations. Merchandisers report to leadership including the store, area, district, and market managers. They also work with our receiving partners.
Requirements
- Must have functioning smartphone
- Be able to download and use payroll and inventory applications
- Communicate via text, email, phone (may be eligible for reimbursement)
- Understand how to provide basic customer service
- Able to work in a safe manner and in a constant state of alertness
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Possess strong problem-solving skills
- Act with professionalism with your team and customers
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and with teams
- Able to work in variety of environmental conditions
- Enjoy physical work and exercise
- Have access to reliable transportation (includes public transportation)
- Enjoy flexible work hours which may include occasional weekends and holidays
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, climb, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the workday.
Responsibilities
- Comply with Bell Nursery policies and procedures
- Execute Bell merchandising standards
- Merchandise product per Plan-o-gram
- Set ads as needed in stores
- Unload product deliveries manually or with assistance
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Advocate for watering standards to sustain live goods
- Communicate with leadership regarding execution daily
