About The Position
As a Merchandiser Lead at Swire Coca-Cola, you will be the primary point person for merchandising and product stocking efforts. This role involves ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting the product portfolio by maintaining beverage sections, displays, coolers, and all points of availability, keeping them properly stocked according to Swire Coca-Cola standards. You will also be responsible for rotating products using a "first in first out" system and supporting the area sales team, gaining valuable experience in merchandising and the beverage industry.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) required
- Valid Drivers License - Endorsement P (Passenger) Valid driver’s license upon hire required
- Driving record meets Swire’s vehicle policy upon hire required
- At least 18 years of age required
- Reliable form of transportation
- Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
- Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed
Responsibilities
- Leadership and accountability to restock, clean, and organize aisles, displays, sections, racks, coolers and shelves in an aligned manner with labels facing outward for purchase and consumption
- Rotate products to ensure that the store follows a "first in first out" stocking system
- Maintain back rooms by organizing and consolidating back stock in a safely accessible way within the assigned loading dock area each day with every assigned customer
- Identify and store any product unfit for sale to be credited to customer account
- Operate manual pallet jack, hand carts, and six wheeled carts
- Build displays and other promotional items throughout the assigned store by moving, stacking and building items according to instruction and schedule made by supervisor and store general management
- Cover Merchandiser Supervisor responsibilities on supervisor’s days off
- Assist with training/developing new merchandisers
