About The Position

This position is for merchandisers needed on an as-needed basis, specifically open to 1099 independent contractors only. It is important to note that this is not a full-time or part-time position. Most of the work is project-based, typically consisting of jobs that take about 1 hour to complete, with some exceptions for larger tasks like resets that may require more time in the store. Merchandisers at SRS (Strategic Retail Solutions) are essential to the company, bringing experience in various merchandising tasks such as audits, building racks and displays, resets, pull & plugs, POP/POS placement, and planogram implementation and maintenance. They are expected to use their friendly and outgoing personalities to build strong relationships with stores while fulfilling client needs.

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter and quick learner.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Tech-savvy with experience in taking photos and completing surveys.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying work needs.
• Must have an Android or iPhone, internet access, and know how to access Google.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• 1 year of experience with planograms.
• 1 year of merchandising experience.
• 1 year of experience with resets.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Access to a printer when needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid, non-expired driver's license.
• Ability to travel within the assigned region (up to 15 miles).

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising tasks as needed on a project basis.
• Build racks and displays in stores.
• Conduct audits and resets (shelf and pegboard work).
• Implement and maintain planograms.
• Place POP/POS materials.
• Communicate effectively with store personnel and clients.
• Meet client directives before deadlines.

Benefits

• Pay rates range from $15.00 to $17.00, varying by client.
