About The Position

An experienced Retail Merchandiser with 3+ years of merchandising experience, with confidence in data analysis, quick follow-through, and extreme attention to detail. This person must be highly knowledgeable in Excel and fashion merchandising. This role will manage our mens & womens designer brands (non-CDG). Key Responsibilities: Own Designer product lifecycle post-buy process; inclusive of driving strategies and movement with the goal of 60% full-price ST Drive inventory initiatives based on budget and sales trends, i.e., allocations, transfers, RTVs, replenishment, chase/swaps, etc. Create a seasonal hindsight deck to guide the Designer Buying team through opportunities during Market, focusing on the “big picture.” Provide direction to the Visual Merchandising team regarding product assortment and visibility In partnership with Logistics, regularly check stock and ensure it remains accurate across respective areas Partner closely with E-Commerce, Press, and Marketing teams to drive digital growth and in-store event programming Create longstanding relationships with brands; ensure deliveries are executed within the agreed-upon timeframe Communicate shipments and launches to all cross-functional partners Liaise with global DSM offices for special orders and product transfers as needed Generation of regular reports to analyze sell-through and performance of brands and suggest actions. Manage and develop the Associate Merchandiser

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Merchandiser role; either Designer or Jewelry a must
  • Multi-brand experience is a must
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Must be advanced in creating Excel reports from raw data
  • Excellent understanding of the entire buying and merchandising process
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; both internally and externally
  • Monitor the performance of measurable targets on a weekly basis.
  • Planning and execution of product launches
  • A highly motivated individual able to manage their assigned businesses and converse internally and externally
  • A self-starter able to set the standard by their own professionalism and attitude.
  • Decisive, structured, and organized, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Will strategize to drive the business forward.
