About The Position

The position involves greeting customers on the sales floor, directing them to products or parts specialists, and checking out customers while deterring shoplifters. The role requires keeping the front area stocked and organized, stocking merchandise according to planograms or displays, and completing sales preparation. Requirements

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to parts specialists.
• Check in, price, and put up stock.
• Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean daily.
• Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms.
• Make all out-front price changes and ensure all 'sale' signs are in place.
• Maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise on display and remove all sale material when sales end.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with the manager to complete the store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
• Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security.
• Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check out customers purchasing front floor merchandise quickly and friendly.
• Handle merchandise returns from customers efficiently.
• Assist customers by finishing tickets and processing payments when the express lane is not utilized.
