About The Position

O’Reilly Auto Parts is looking for a Merchandiser who will greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise, and direct them to parts specialists when necessary. The role involves checking in, pricing, and stocking merchandise, ensuring the display floor is clean and well-stocked, and making display changes according to company guidelines. The Merchandiser will also assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns, while acting as a deterrent to shoplifting. Additionally, the position includes cashier responsibilities, such as checking out customers quickly and efficiently, handling merchandise returns, and assisting in busy times at the counter. Requirements

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise.
