The Merchandiser Assistant I has primary responsibility for proper control procedures including accounts payable and all company and division policies and procedures. The Merchandiser Assistant I is responsible for vendor management related to A/P including statement reconciliation, invoice management and serves as primary communications contact. Primary function of this role is to manage payables in a systematic and timely fashion also allowing for maximum use of credit terms with vendors. The Merchandiser Assistant I should exhibit excellent teamwork with other business units and employees and assist in training any new Merchandiser Assistants.
