About The Position

The Merchandise Warehouse Inventory Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, proper organization of merchandise, and efficient support of daily warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing products with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of warehouse or inventory experience preferred
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Excel, inventory software)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Must be able to pass a background check

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred

Responsibilities

Receive incoming merchandise and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
Accurately input inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS)
Organize and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations
Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits
Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies
Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for orders, transfers, and shipments
Label, tag, and barcode products as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries
Adhere to company safety standards and warehouse procedures
Communicate inventory concerns or issues to supervisors promptly
