PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Merchandise Manager, assists with retail managerial procedures at Angel Stadium. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Supervise & lead a staff of up to 10 people. •Be an aid for certain outside functions for Angels events (i.e. Training Camp, Fan Fest, Family Day, etc.). •Assist with reporting, nightly business and any other reports as needed. •Assist with identifying problematic issues and concerns. •Maximize both employee and customer satisfaction. •Assist with check-in/check-out procedure as necessary. •Learn and train others to effectively produce customized jerseys. •Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels. •Prepare retail locations for events and game day operations. •Work with visual displays and merchandising of stands. Setting up displays to best attract customers' attention. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: •Previous retail and/or customer service experience a plus. •Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management. •Highly motivated with a pleasant and upbeat attitude. •Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team setting in addition to work independently. •Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail. •Comfortable with operating Microsoft Office. •Must be able to work fluently in English and bi-lingual skills are a plus. •Must be able to work long periods of time with constant standing, walking and lifting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: •Must be at least 18 years old •High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred. •Must be flexible to work all Angel Stadium events including late nights, weekends and holidays •Must be able to work at a fast pace PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
