About The Position

This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in St. Petersburg, FL. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Merchandise Service Specialist to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL! The core responsibility of the Merchandise Services Specialist is to maintain proper workflow balance of Purchase Order creation and maintenance. A successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot to resolve issues and is detailed oriented.

Requirements

  • Associate degree to Bachelor's degree in Retail, Fashion Retail or a combination of education and two to three years' experience in the retail fashion industry
  • Passionate about sneaker culture and/or the retail industry
  • Basic understanding of retail math
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and charts & graphs
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail are necessary
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; able to take initiative in finding solutions to new issues
  • Self-started with organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all global style, color, divisional SKUs and UPCs are created in a timely manner prior to agreed upon deadline times for Purchase Order (PO) writing
  • Work as a cohesive team and balance all workloads with each member of the team so that not one person is more worked or underworked than another member of the team
  • Drive the creation of Purchase Orders through the PO RPA process
  • Troubleshoot and review errors to ensure accuracy of POs created
  • Manual creation will be necessary at times in conjunction with the PO RPA process in peak volume periods
  • Assist merchant community with Purchase Order discrepancies from vendors relating to shortages, overages, and pricing
  • Take appropriate steps to bring any open PO suspense issues to a resolution in a timely manner
  • Assist merchant and logistics community with the movement of Purchase Order attributes including dates priority codes and warehouse location
  • KPIs will be utilized to monitor creation workload and be balanced between all team members to ensure work is created timely to avoid missing vendor purchase order deadlines
