About The Position

Burlington is seeking a Merchandise Project Manager to support its growing business in Southern California or Arizona. This role involves providing merchandising support under the direction of Sr. Merchandise Project Managers, ensuring timely completion of corporately sponsored projects, and enhancing communication methods for new directives. The MPM will also support district and store teams through training and execution of merchandising standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Liberal Arts, or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in project management with strong merchandising skills.
• Experience in multi-unit management.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of management and store personnel.
• Flexibility with changing deadlines and ability to multitask.
• Strategic and organized approach to meeting project deadlines.
• Comfortable with heavy, consistent travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide support throughout projects guiding efficiencies and best practices, elevating overall results.
• Act as a liaison between fixturing and graphics.
• Conduct store visits to support all merchandising opportunities.
• Teach min/max throughout the territory.
• Participate in territory conference calls to communicate current directives effectively.
• Partner with District Managers to communicate new store floor plan changes and advise on execution in-store.
• Align with Sr CML to provide insights from a store/field perspective.
• Support all new AP directives related to merchandise and communicate any issues, opportunities, or concerns.
