About The Position

As a Merch Production Coordinator, you’ll be the executional engine behind Duolingo’s consumer product drops and collaborations. You’ll manage vendor comms, timelines, product development processes, and occasional asset coordination. You’ll work closely with our external partner (Bamko) and internal design studio to make sure every product makes it from idea to launch, on time and on brand. This is a contract position (no benefits included).

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in product development, merchandising operations, or vendor management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A knack for working across many moving parts and keeping everything on track
• Familiarity with production processes, timelines, and vendor relationships
• Comfort jumping in with light design feedback or editing support (Adobe suite or Figma a plus)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day communications with Duolingo’s third-party merch partner (Bamko)
• Support the execution of product development timelines , shipping, and launch readiness
• Collaborate with design studio to ensure assets are delivered and meet production needs
• Coordinate project documentation , sample feedback, and internal handoffs
• Provide light design QA or basic editing support where needed (asset swaps, tweaks)
• Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels , product demand , and excess stock
• Assist with vendor relationship health, quoting, production updates, and packaging
