A Merchandise Processor is responsible for their portion of the warehouse function (picking, scanning or shipping). This person is accountable for the suitable handling and processing of all orders received in the picking, scanning, shipping, receiving and/or returns areas. Though each associate is assigned to a section of the warehouse, all are trained in the various areas and work where needed most as directed by their supervisor. The Order Puller (full case) locates, pulls, and stages customer materials for shipment based on daily pick tickets, while maintaining accurate accounting of internal transactions, placement, and movement of material. The hours for this full-time position are. Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others Pull, process and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures and parts Responsible for shipping, pulling orders and completing required paperwork Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas
