About The Position

As a Merchandise Processor, you are responsible for performing all aspects of merchandise processing including loading/unloading shipments, unpacking/packing product, ticketing, counting, and filling orders. Though each associate is assigned to a section of the warehouse, all are trained in the various areas and work where needed most as directed by their supervisor. The Order Puller (full case) locates, pulls, and stages customer materials for shipment based on daily pick tickets, while maintaining accurate accounting of internal transactions, placement, and movement of material.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of Warehouse experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Competent verbal and written communication skills
• Competent addition and subtraction math skills
• Competent literacy skills to read orders and labels without transposing part numbers

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety guidelines, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others
• Pull, process and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures and parts
• Responsible for shipping, pulling orders and completing required paperwork
• Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas
• Other duties as assigned
