About The Position

To support the needs of our high- volume, fast-paced Merchandising organization, we have an opening in our Framingham offices for a Merchandise Processor! The Merchandise Processor organizes, maintains and executes the flow of merchandise samples across the organization. Assists with the processing of merchandise samples to include: Opening packages for Buyers Packaging and shipping samples back to vendors Assisting Merchandise Assistants with clean-up of flow Moving samples to designated building location and/or conference room Maintaining sample closets Organizing samples for special sample projects and/or product review meetings Ensures proper handling of all merchandise samples Manages the flow of FedEx, UPS, vendor and home office shipments Communicates with charity organizations weekly on pickup details Communicates and follows through with necessary departments and divisions at various levels Assists in set up and removal of sample fixtures in department sample sections and conference rooms

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Works independently, requires minimal supervision
Demonstrates flexibility and ability to adapt to an ever-changing and diverse environment
Developed verbal communication skills with ability to assess and tailor communication style to all levels, personalities and needs
Strong attention to detail; strong organizational and follow through skills
Proven ability to multitask in a high volume and fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
Prior shipping, stockroom or warehouse stocking experience a plus

Responsibilities
