About the position
The Merchandise Processor position at Williams-Sonoma's Tracy, CA Distribution Center is a seasonal, full-time role focused on supporting the efficient operation of the supply chain. This position involves various warehouse tasks including cycle counting, unloading trucks, and managing merchandise movement within the distribution center. The role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Cycle count Hub locations
- Unload inbound trucks and manage merchandise put away
- Move products from the receiving dock to designated locations
- Pull PCNL units from Hub inventory
- Put away freight into distribution center locations
- Assist with cycle counting at Hub inbound dock locations
- Maintain a safe and clean work area according to OSHA requirements
- Lead by example in work ethic and adherence to policies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
- At least 1 year of experience in Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Distribution environment
- Self-motivated individual able to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team
- Good attendance record
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to work different schedules as business needs demand
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- HUBM RF knowledge
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to safely lift, push or pull at least 75 pounds throughout the day
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team
