About The Position

The Final Inspector position is located in Claremont, NC. You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will be responsible for cutting all strings and detailing the whole piece of furniture. You will assure that the ticket and fabric are correct with the frame piece and inspect the overall appearance, which includes standing back and visually checking. Your duties will include completing the final inspection to ensure that all seams are sewn straight, there are no dropped stitches, no puckered fabric, and no visible fabric defects. You will also check that cushion corners are even side to side with tailoring correct, cushions and backs are filled out correctly and fit the piece, and that there are no lumps or cat tracks. Additionally, you will assure that all welt is straight and even, and that all deck labels are in the correct location. You will take photos of each piece for tracking quality issues. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in the quality control area with specific experience in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in using computers for tracking and updating kit location for customer service.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
