About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall health of SAP and Oracle data and plays a critical role in the Product Development Process. The position is responsible for providing admin/super user support to the Merchandising, Procurement, Manufacturing, Package Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Cost Accounting. The position requires a high degree of technical skills to develop and support various tools used across the company to develop products and manage SAP/Oracle data. This position is also responsible for some day-to-day data entry to setup new materials (SKUs)   Major responsibilities of the position are listed below.  To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management Centric PLM System Administration: Work with users to ensure product development processes and data governance rules are adhered to, provide direction on sku set up for new product initiatives, update views to support user needs, seeding future seasons for development, and other administrative needs to support the product development process. Lead weekly tracking meetings to ensure all teams focus on completing gift development that has highest impact to Product Planning and Procurement or other business initiatives. Prioritize team’s work and ensure SKU and BOM data is reviewed and uploaded to SAP/Oracle in timely fashion once product development is complete. Manage SKU and BOM revisions processed through SharePoint workflow and Email requests Acts as subject matter expert and provides support for special projects like new brand onboarding or new product launches. Executes set up for special/complex scenarios like Wine. Works with manufacturing planning for yearly review to align BOMs and plant configurations with seasonal manufacturing goals Supports team by executing mass updates to sku and BOMs using SAP functions Responsible for SharePoint workflow definitions, and communicating requirements to development team Monitors products age/activity to determine when SKUs should be marked for obsolescence Monitors Audits for PLM and SAP to ensure data exceptions are resolved quickly and provides direction to developers for improvements. UAT testing and support for PLM, SAP and Oracle. Activities include defining scenarios, setting up data to support scenarios, and executing tests.   Qualifications

Requirements

  • 2 years Associates, Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced experience with an MRP system – SAP preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite application knowledge including proficiency with using VBA in these applications.
  • Advanced SharePoint knowledge.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing directives and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Eagerness to dive into the data to solve the questions that drive the business forward.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to look at vast amounts of data and recalling specific sets of data.
  • Requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact with various departments and to explain complex system issues to user groups.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Merchandising, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain best practices highly preferred.
