We're seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. The Assistant Store Manager will assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities, help customers in a positive, approachable manner, and address any questions or concerns they may have. Responsibilities include organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor, maintaining seasonal areas of the store, performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays, assisting in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention. The role also involves maintaining a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom, protecting and securing company assets, adhering to policies and procedures, supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, ensuring a positive and respectful environment, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store.
