About The Position

This role is the heart of what we do at IPSY. The Merchandise Manager is responsible with merchandising the assortment for Ipsy Extra and Ipsy Ultimate (our full size programs). Alongside the Director of Merchandising, you will be selecting what each member (subscriber) receives every month! This role works closely with Planning, Inbound, Marketing, Brand Partnerships, and Operations teams to ensure all programs are executed smoothly and not only meet -- but exceed -- KPIs for each program. We need someone who truly gets beauty and has their pulse on beauty trends, beauty landscape, and niche and upcoming brands. If you are a strong, business-savvy negotiator and a whiz at getting product at the best cost -- we want to hear from you! This position reports to the Director of Merchandising and is based in Pembroke Pines, FL (required to be in office at least 1x per week).

Requirements

Required to go in Pembroke Pines office on Tuesdays (minimum 1x per week)
Experience in the beauty / cosmetic wholesale industry with an extreme passion for beauty, trends, insights
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical abilities (to an executive level)
Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to proactively handle a multitude of projects at one time
Highly collaborative & passionate team player with a positive & professional attitude

Nice To Haves

Experience with specialty retailers such as Sephora / Ulta

Responsibilities

Merchandising beauty assortment for IPSY's full size programs (Extra & Ultimate), as well as Add-Ons
Creating subcategory and brand plans for upcoming years with Planning team
Collaborate with Creative on upcoming years monthly themes and how they tie back to product, packaging, formulas, trends, and ingredients
Complete all cross-functional marketing tasks to support that product booked is marketed effectively to members
Establish and monitor KPIs for quality and performance
