About The Position

The Merchandise Manager plays a critical role at IPSY, owning the merchandising strategy and execution for IPSY’s monthly subscriptions. Partnering closely with the Director of Merchandising, this role is responsible for curating monthly assortments that delight members and drive strong program performance. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Inbound, Marketing, Brand Partnerships, and Operations to ensure seamless execution across all programs, consistently meeting—and exceeding—key performance indicators. This role requires a deep understanding of the beauty landscape, strong trend intuition, and a sharp commercial mindset. If you are a strategic negotiator with a passion for discovering emerging brands and securing product at optimal cost, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the IPSY member experience. This position reports to the Director of Merchandising and is based in Pembroke Pines, FL (required to be in office at least 1x per week).

Requirements

  • Ability to work in the Pembroke Pines office on Tuesdays (minimum one day per week)
  • Experience in the beauty or cosmetics wholesale industry, with a deep passion for beauty, trends, and consumer insights
  • Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A collaborative, proactive team player with a positive and professional approach

  • Experience with specialty retailers such as Sephora / Ulta

Responsibilities

  • Own merchandising of beauty assortments for IPSY’s monthly subscription programs, as well as Add-Ons
  • Develop annual subcategory and brand strategies, in partnership with the Planning team
  • Collaborate with Creative to align monthly themes with product selection, packaging, formulations, trends, and key ingredients
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure booked products are positioned and marketed effectively to members across all touch-points
  • Establish, track, and optimize key performance and quality KPIs across programs
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure on-time, on-strategy execution
