About The Position

Legends is a premium experiences company founded in 2008, operating worldwide with six divisions. The Global Merchandise division is recognized for providing a fully customized, customer-centric, omnichannel shopping experience for fans. The role involves various tasks related to inventory processes and collaboration with Legends staff and leading tennis merchandise manufacturers, offering valuable insights into the operations of a tennis championship, specifically during the 2026 BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Friendly, self-motivated, and love meeting new people
  • Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
  • Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and move throughout the venue for extended periods
  • Ability to transport up to 30 lbs on a continuous basis
  • Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank
  • Ability to work independently or in a team during set up
  • Effective communication skills with supervisor and guests
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving all merchandise for The Shops
  • Conduct inventory processes
  • Organize and distribute merchandise around The Shops
  • Assist with set-up and visual displays within The Shops
  • Work with national vendor representatives to move products into the store
  • Design storefront layout and displays to enhance visual appeal and attract customers
  • Work with visuals consultant and Legends staff to create and apply visuals throughout the Shops
  • Assist in the final preparations of the merchandise facilities
  • Create signage and organize point-of-sale stations
  • Train volunteers
  • Direct over 250 employees in various areas of the merchandise operations during event weeks
  • Coordinate with vendors on product-related tasks and questions
  • Resolve customer service issues and inquire on customer satisfaction
  • Implement design changes to store layout to improve customer flow
  • Assist with the breakdown of the merchandise operations post-tournament
  • Assist with any post-event sales and load out process

Benefits

  • Paid hourly plus overtime – Standard Rate: $17.00
