In this role, you will work in an energized, fast-paced environment where you will collaborate with peers to prepare and move merchandise according to established safety, production, and accuracy standards and employment guidelines. You will embody a Customer Curious mindset as you maintain and verify documentation to facilitate the flow of merchandise through the Distribution Center, ensuring that outstanding products are delivered to our customers. This position requires a commitment to quality and performance metrics while creating a positive customer experience. Your responsibilities will include performing various tasks such as ticketing, stocking, picking, packing, counting, loading, and unloading merchandise. You will also be responsible for housekeeping and safety functions to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Consistency in the quality of your work is essential, and you will be expected to meet performance metrics in your assigned work areas. Collaboration with leaders and team members through constructive feedback will be encouraged to support process improvements and cost reductions. You will work under direct supervision and follow standard operating procedures to accomplish assigned tasks, with the ability to work in multiple departments as needed. The role demands physical stamina, as you will be required to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, and stack cartons for up to 12 hours at a time. You should be able to stand for long periods and walk continuously, with the ability to move up to 50 lbs. (range may vary based on work assignment). A flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary, and you will utilize basic information-gathering skills to solve problems. On-the-job training will be provided to learn standard operating procedures, including the operation of power industrial vehicles (PIV) where applicable.
