Requirements

  • Minium of 2 years of experience in merchandise coordination, sample management, or studio operations within fashion, retail, or e-commerce.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven ability to manage high-volume sample workflows across concurrent shoots, ensuring product accuracy and accountability.
  • Strong proficiency with SKU tracking tools (Excel, Smartsheets, Airtable, PLM, CDSuite, or equivalent systems).
  • Skilled in driving cross-functional collaboration with Production, Styling, Studio Ops, Post, and Systems to meet delivery targets.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to anticipate needs and maintain operational flow.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting merch coordinators, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency in merchandise handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and timeline management in a fast-paced, evolving studio environment.
  • Physically able to climb ladders and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Experience in a managed-services or multi-studio network
  • Familiarity with PLM systems or digital asset tracking tools.
  • Understanding of merchandising and photo production workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and adopt new tools or technologies that improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage merchandise intake, tracking, organization, and return across concurrent shoots and studio locations.
  • Maintain real-time product tracking using digital tools and ensure SKU accuracy across systems and reports.
  • Support daily shoot preparation by building racks, organizing samples, and ensuring apparel, footwear, and accessories are photo-ready.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Styling, and Post to meet delivery timelines and resolve sample or reshoot issues.
  • Conduct merchandise audits to reconcile inventory and ensure accountability for all client samples.
  • Communicate effectively with client and internal teams regarding product availability, readiness, and return status.
  • Mentor and support merchandise coordinators and assistants to maintain consistent quality and accuracy.
  • Contribute to process documentation and workflow efficiencies that enhance throughput and studio performance.
