About The Position
Vestis Uniforms and Workplace Supplies provides uniforms and related products to more than 400,000 customers nationwide, in virtually every industry. From designing and manufacturing to laundering and delivering, Vestis works with local and national clients to create and maintain a total uniform solution that promotes teamwork and establishes a professional identity. Vestis operates from over 200 locations nationwide. The Merchandise Control Manager is responsible for overall execution of daily stockroom production activities while ensuring workplace safety, cost effectiveness, timeliness, and accuracy of processing as well as high product quality for the entire stockroom. Working under direction from the Plant Manager and/or General Manager, the manager seeks to optimize workflow and efficiency and meet production goals and profitability objectives. This role involves supervising stockroom workers to ensure that production standards are followed, and goals are achieved, while maintaining positive employee relations and compliance with policies and procedures.
