About The Position

The Merchandise Associate at Marshalls is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to operational and merchandise standards. This role involves cross-training in various store areas to support business needs and contribute to a positive store culture.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-train to work in multiple areas of the store as needed.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns, and count change back to customers.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company standards.
• Participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support store shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
