About The Position
As a merchandising and stocking associate at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our members can easily find everything they need on their shopping list. This position requires you to be on your feet and actively engaged in various tasks that contribute to the overall shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and assisting members while stocking shelves. The job is fast-paced and can be physically demanding, akin to being paid to go to the gym. You will be part of a dedicated team with a shared goal of helping members discover more of what they love at affordable prices. In this role, you will be expected to promptly unload trucks and assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store. You will sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom, engage positively with vendors and drivers, and maintain a clean and organized area that is ready for members. Your ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize member satisfaction, and adapt to changing work scenarios will be essential. You will also need to tackle obstacles head-on to ensure that each task is completed with excellence, including lifting boxes and other heavy objects weighing more than 25 pounds.
