This role is responsible for analyzing sales trends, and inventory performance to identify strategic opportunities that optimize merchandise allocation to enhance performance and drive business growth. Our ideal candidate excels at problem-solving in a dynamic environment and utilizes data to adeptly uncover actionable insights.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or one-to-two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1+ years of relevant experience in an analytical, planning, or strategic role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to present insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Self-motivated, independent, and a collaborative team player.
Commitment to data integrity and clearly defined processes.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with retail planning, merchandising, or store operations preferred.
Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
Understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze sales trends and selling patterns to identify opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to support buyers and inventory strategies.
Identify and react to selling trends to optimize inventory investments.
Monitor inventory productivity and recommend adjustments based on evolving business trends.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Conduct data collection, organization, and interpretation from multiple data sources.
Partner with multiple departments to drive alignment and results.
Monitor in-season performance KPIs and deliver timely feedback to internal teams.
Support in-season allocation decisions and exception tracking (e.g., inventory levels, sales plan changes/selling trends, order placement).
Partner with leadership to create strategic analyses that inform decision making.
Lead or participate in special projects, scenario modeling, and new business initiatives.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements using data-driven insights.
