As a key member of our service department, the Automotive Mechanic will play a vital role in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for our Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, specializing in Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Mercedes-Benz certification or equivalent technical training is highly desirable.
- Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and repair tools specific to Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Detail-oriented approach and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Mercedes-Benz certification or equivalent technical training is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including engine diagnostics, electrical system repairs, and brake service.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify and address any potential safety or performance concerns.
- Execute complex repairs and component replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain repair recommendations and provide cost estimates.
- Maintain meticulous records of work performed and adhere to dealership policies and procedures.
- Stay abreast of Mercedes-Benz technical bulletins and training to remain proficient in the latest automotive technology.
