ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing MEP systems in operational facilities. Develop and lead retrofit strategies to improve energy efficiency and system performance. Identify opportunities for modernization and future-proofing through advanced technologies. Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to implement upgrades and ensure seamless execution. Oversee design reviews, budgeting, and scheduling for retrofit projects. Negotiate MEP contracts and scope, and manage projects through to completion, ensuring quality and compliance. Analyze contract documents for constructability, code compliance, and functionality. Lead MEP trade 3D coordination meetings and manage coordinated drawings submittal approval process. Guide and monitor MEP trade coordination and installation on site. Manage MEP trade material submittals in accordance with contract documents. Track and manage MEP trade material procurement documentation. Develop, monitor, and maintain MEP schedule in conjunction with project field supervision team. Review field installation for compliance and quality. Manage testing and commissioning efforts. Review and advise on MEP requisitions and contract changes. Handle MEP-related close-out document delivery. Stay current with emerging technologies, sustainability practices, and regulatory changes impacting MEP systems.
