About The Position

Holder Construction Company is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to join our onsite project teams in Shippingport, PA. Responsibilities: Responsible for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems construction and coordination needs of our projects. This position will provide oversight to MEP subcontractors and vendors, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, major MEP equipment, lighting, fire alarm, security, building automation system controls, CCTV, power distribution, and communication devices involved in the project. Assist in coordinating schedules, establishing and monitoring a QC/QA program, maintaining and reviewing punch lists, making sound decisions, and seeking solutions to problems using all available resources from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out. Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ yrs commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
  • Candidate should be effective in understanding workforce/staffing requirements, project progress, troubleshooting field engineering problems, and start-up and commissioning of building systems.
  • The position requires experience managing the construction of complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, stadiums, and other special-use facilities.
  • Strong experience in managing relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, and clients on a professional level while supervising subcontractors and vendors is a priority.
