About The Position

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager with a strong background in Commercial High-Rise Construction, specializing in Plumbing and HVAC coordination. This role requires a technically strong leader who can oversee complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across multi-story commercial or residential towers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing vertical construction projects, coordinating trades, and driving MEP execution from preconstruction through commissioning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an MEP Project Manager on commercial construction projects
  • Proven experience on mid-rise or high-rise construction projects
  • Strong background in Plumbing and HVAC systems
  • Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection software
  • Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical system design and installation sequencing
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar MEP packages
  • Ability to interpret MEP drawings and specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor coordination skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle delivery of MEP scopes for commercial high-rise projects
  • Oversee Plumbing, HVAC, ductwork, hydronic systems, and mechanical installations
  • Lead MEP coordination meetings with subcontractors and consultants
  • Review and manage shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
  • Coordinate BIM and clash detection processes
  • Develop and maintain MEP budgets, cost controls, and forecasting
  • Ensure alignment between field installation and project schedule
  • Collaborate with Superintendents, General Contractors, Engineers, and Inspectors
  • Manage change orders, procurement, and long-lead equipment tracking
  • Oversee system testing, commissioning, and final turnover
  • Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code, life safety, and local regulations
