About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
5-10+ years of MEP estimating experience
Proven experience with government agency projects (SCA, DASNY, etc.)
Proficiency in estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Destini, Sitework tools)
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Experience advising clients on cost strategies and market conditions
Familiarity with corporate estimating processes
Ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed MEP estimates for government agency, healthcare, and institutional projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation for cost breakdowns
Evaluate subcontractor bids and perform scope reviews
Collaborate with design teams for constructability and value engineering
Participate in preconstruction meetings and client presentations
Maintain historical cost data and update pricing databases
