About The Position

We're hiring an experienced MEP Estimator to lead cost planning and estimation for large-scale healthcare and higher education projects across multiple regions. This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City. You'll develop detailed MEP estimates, analyze drawings and specifications, evaluate subcontractor bids, and collaborate with design teams to identify value engineering opportunities. This role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an MEP Estimator
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Proficiency in estimating software (Trimble, Bluebeam, CostX, or similar)
• Ability to work on-site in NYC office
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP estimates for healthcare and institutional projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation for cost breakdowns
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and perform scope reviews
• Collaborate with design teams for constructability and value engineering
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and client presentations
• Maintain historical cost data and update pricing databases
