About The Position

The MEP Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, telecommunications, security, and AV systems. This position collaborates closely with project teams, subcontractors, and owner representatives to ensure quality, schedule, safety, and budget requirements are met across all project phases.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Proficiency with Procore, BIM, Open Space, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with safety programs, QA/QC standards, and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with code checks, surveys, standards, violations, and schedules.
• Support clash detection, site visits, buyouts, and value engineering.
• Track logs, review submittals, and inspect job sites for material needs.
• Help produce drawings, track conflicts, prep kickoffs, and take meeting minutes.
• Draft/manage RFIs and distribute reports for closeout.
• Use Procore, BIM, Open Space, MS Office, and adapt to new tools.
• Join schedule updates and subcontractor meetings.
• Coordinate MEP work, manage shutdowns with owners, and provide weekly reports.
• Inspect installations for compliance and upload test reports.
• Manage schedules, oversee system integration, and resolve deficiencies with agents.
• Conduct inspections/trainings, manage safety, support QA/QC, lead trade kickoffs, and create checklists.
• Promote and enforce company and OSHA safety standards.
• Apply union rules, EEO standards, and company policies; support the General Superintendent.
