The Menu Publishing Analyst at Dine Brands Global, Inc. plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the accuracy of menu content across various formats for the company's restaurant brands, including Applebee's, IHOP, and Fuzzy's Taco Shop. This position is based in Pasadena, California, and involves working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that all menu items and descriptions are up-to-date and reflect the needs of franchise operators. The analyst serves as the primary point of contact for any inquiries related to menu content and is responsible for overseeing the nuances of menu development within the franchise system. In this role, the analyst will manage menu changes and communicate necessary updates during each menu cycle. They will review menu briefs, write programming instructions, and lead weekly meetings with programming partners to ensure that all menu programming is implemented correctly. Additionally, the analyst will manage deviations for franchise partners, maintaining store profiles to ensure compliance with legal disclaimers and brand-approved deviations. A significant part of the job involves leading the cross-functional proofing process before order windows open for franchisees, collecting feedback from stakeholders, and obtaining necessary approvals. The analyst will also create ordering guides for franchisees, communicate upcoming order windows and campaign details, and track franchisee order statuses during these windows. They will maintain a comprehensive copy deck of all menu items, descriptions, nutritional information, and other specifics, while also managing a SharePoint site to keep final menu files and related content up to date. Special projects, such as managing non-traditional menus and onboarding new franchise partners, will also be part of the responsibilities. The role may require late-night and weekend work approximately once a month to manage online menu ordering system campaigns.
