Hemet Teacher Residency Program Mentor Teachers for the 2026-27 School Year OPEN TO DISTRICT CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEES ONLY Job Description MENTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Bargaining Unit Members selected to participate in the HUSD Resident Teacher Program as Teacher Mentors shall attest and abide by the conditions and responsibilities outlined in the Mentor Teacher Requirements. Unit Members participating in the Alder Graduate School of Education/HUSD Resident Teacher Program shall receive an extra duty stipend for each year of participation in the amount of $3,500 per year (prorated monthly according to service and participation). MENTOR QUALIFICATIONS Must be providing services to students in the subject area listed on his/her credential. Must have completed 3 years of teaching experience by June 30, 2026 Must possess a valid California Clear Credential in the subject area(s) of: Special Education - Mild/Moderate Mathematics Science Interviews will be conducted through SparkHire.
