About The Position

Plans and provides activities for patients conducive to recovery. Encourages patient responsibility in social, recreational, and leisure activities in a safe, clean, controlled environment.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Psychology, Social Work or related field
• AHA accredited BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred
• 2 – 4 years related experience
• Ability to communicate clearly in English both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention & prevention techniques.
• Ability to organize, prioritize & manage multiple projects and follow through to ensure tasks are complete
• Influenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date, during the influenza season, if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption.
