About The Position

The Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Unit is a specialized inpatient unit
for the psychiatric evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of adults with
co-occurring developmental and psychiatric disorders. This is a 6-bed unit that
offers a behavioral approach to care for these dually diagnosed adults.

This position requires availability to work 7pm-7:30am.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED. Human Services related degree or past direct care, or related experience strongly preferred.
• Must be available to work 36 hours per week and every other weekend.
• All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors.
• Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse.
• Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures.
