About The Position
The Mental Health Worker position at Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical involves working in both inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. In the inpatient role, the worker assists with patient care, including activities of daily living, while maintaining a safe and clean environment. They are part of an interdisciplinary care team and are responsible for communicating important patient information to the supervising RN. In the outpatient role, the worker carries out daily living programs and individual treatment plans for psychiatric patients. This position requires adherence to nursing standards and hospital policies.
