As our newest Mental Health Worker, you will provide paraprofessional support work involving the direct care, and rehabilitation of patients. Responsibilities include: implementing programs, treatment and education of those with severe and persistent mental illness and providing their direct patient care. Riverview Psychiatric Center , in collaboration with the community, is a center for best practice, treatment, education and research, for individuals with serious, persistent mental illness, and co-occurring substance use disorders. We hold accreditation's by CMS and the Joint Commission. The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is dedicated to promoting health, safety, resilience, and opportunity for Maine people. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Preference will be given to those candidates with experience in mental health and who are registered on the State of Maine’s CNA register.
