About The Position

The Mental Health Worker provides therapeutic interventions for clients and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in adherence to hospital policies and core values. This full-time position also coordinates transportation for the MHWs' team, creating the run sheets, managing runs based on how many MHW's are on in a given day, along with communicating with the Clinicians to ensure run sheets are up to date for transportation needs of each day. The position involves providing transportation from school to the Joshua Center program and then to a student's home as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience with behavioral health clients preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years related experience required.
• Current CT Driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Public Service License 'A' Endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and DOT physical exam.
• Must have and maintain a telephone number for scheduling.
• Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills required.
